excellent base for exploration with great nearby parks and trails

during my stay, I really appreciated how the hosts made me feel at home and the huge room that had a cozy fireplace for chilly nights. Being just a short drive from amazing hiking trails and the wildlife center made my city strolls even more enjoyable.

Our family loved our stay at Desert Trails Bed & Breakfast! The Bungalow with Garden View was spacious and well-equipped, perfect for us. The kitchen area added convenience, and I especially loved the sitting area for family games in the evening. Breakfasts were fantastic, featuring delicious options like almond French toast, and the hosts, John and Steffi, were incredibly knowledgeable about local activities.

We experienced a minor issue with hot water during our stay.

Lovely stay! The rooms were pristine, and I adored the spacious bathroom. The hummingbirds at breakfast were a delightful addition, and the tranquil setting was simply divine—a true desert sanctuary!

But honestly, I could've used a sign that said, 'this isn’t a 5-star resort, darling. ' Still, the coyotes did keep me entertained at night!

With a sprawling room featuring a cozy fireplace and a bathroom large enough for both of us to prepare in comfortably, every moment felt like a treat. The breakfasts included delightful golden malted waffles and showcased John's culinary skills, setting an enjoyable tone for the day. In the peaceful setting, nature thrived with hummingbirds feeding nearby, although the nighttime sounds of coyotes were a bit startling at first. A quiet place to recharge, the location was ideal for hiking yet felt remote enough for a serene escape.

I had such a wonderful time here with the spacious King Room and the delightful breakfasts John whipped up each morning! The pool and garden area were perfect for relaxing after our daily adventures. The only little hiccup was a flickering nightlight in the bathroom, but it was an easy fix! 🌞

Had a fantastic time with friends! The area is great for golfing and horse riding, especially with Bobbi Houston offering riding lessons. Don't miss breakfast. it’s a highlight, really delicious and filling. Plus, after hiking, the outside pool was a refreshing way to unwind.

The only downside was that the bathroom got a bit cold at night, but it didn't ruin our stay.

It was a strong match for a walk in the evening in Tucson with good value for cost. The tranquility and beauty of nature really stood out, especially with the lively hummingbirds around during breakfast. Try to catch a sunrise hike. it’s absolutely stunning!
